Best Practices for a Safe Zoom Environment
Don’t share your meeting link on social media or other public forums. That’s an invite for anyone to join your meeting.
Avoid using your Personal Meeting ID (PMI) to host public events. Don’t let others crash your personal virtual space.
Manage Screen Sharing. Choose “Only Hosts” under “Advanced Options” or lock the Screen Share by default for all your meetings.
Manage your participants. You can remove unwanted or disrupted participants, lock the meeting, disable private chat, and more.
Try the Waiting Room. A virtual staging area that stops your guests from joining until you are ready for them.
Password protect your meeting. Require a password that your participants need to enter before attending your meeting.
