 Click on the start button. |
 Select an application from the alphabetical programs list and right-click on it.

 A dropdown menu appears. |
 Click on ‘Pin to Start’. |
 A new tile is created in the Tiles area of the Start Menu. |
 To pin to the Taskbar, select the application to be pinned. |
 Right-click on the application and a dropdown menu appears. |
 With your pointer, hover over the word ‘More’ and another dropdown menu will appear. |
 Click on ‘Pin to taskbar’ and a new icon is placed on the taskbar. |
